Elbers Landscape is a reputable landscaping business in the Buffalo community, but their website failed to communicate their skill and expertise and lacked clarity.
Our goals for the new Elbers site were to organize and refine site content, connect with Elbers’ multiple audiences, and communicate in a more visual way.
To organize and refine content, we began with the simplification and restructuring of the site navigation. Taking it a step further, we made sure to layout page content in an organized and logical manner while maintaining a sitewide visual style, so users can quickly and easily access pertinent content.
Elbers’ growing business needed to accommodate two primary audiences—residential and commercial clientele. We were able to cater to these two distinct audiences by establishing separate pages for each, so Elbers can clearly differentiate their offerings.
The restructuring of site content was accompanied by a visually-enhanced user experience (UX) that utilizes engaging video elements and high-quality photography. Visual emphasis is placed primarily on the “after” of Elbers’ projects to highlight the enviable results. Such imagery is a vital component in the creation of an overarching visual style for the Elbers brand—one that is clean, refined, and inviting.
While site users enjoy the UI/UX of the front-end design, the Elbers team is able to quickly and easily update site content—like hours and services that change seasonally—on the back-end with a custom Content Management System (CMS). Their updated website ensures that Elbers is more capable than ever to help their community realize the full potential of their landscapes.
