The Burchfield Penney Art Center’s former website was award-winning and served their audience and internal staff very well for many years, but it was due for a refresh.
With the help of our friends at White Bicycle—who rebranded the BPAC and shepherded the visual design of the website—we were able to develop a lively and engaging user experience. The big and bold imagery, typography, and vivid colors breathe new life into the BPAC brand. The navigation was restructured to be simple and intuitive. And of course, the website and its management system are intuitive, responsive and mobile-friendly.
Though the overall website experience is engaging, what happens behind-the-scenes is where the magic happens. Ingenious’ most valuable contribution to the new BPAC site is the implementation of Archivist—a flexible, web-based software solution for collection management. With Archivist, the BPAC is able to comprehensively control their entire digitized collection in one secure and central data structure—allowing them to easily and efficiently manage everything in their inventory.
