6. Hierarchy & Prioritization: Clearly communicate the hierarchy of information and actions. Important elements should be more prominent and easily accessible, guiding users logically through the interface.
7. Visual Design: An appealing and cohesive visual design that aligns with the overall brand or purpose of the application—e.g. consistent use of colors, typography, and imagery—contributes to a polished and professional appearance.
8. Error Recovery: Anticipate potential user errors and provide clear instructions or warnings to prevent them. If errors occur, offer helpful guidance on how to correct the issue.
9. Progressive Disclosure: Introduce information gradually, revealing more advanced features as users become more familiar with the interface. This approach helps prevent overwhelming users with too much information at once.
10. Responsiveness: Responsive design aligns with the principles of user-centric design and ensures that the user interface is functional, visually appealing, consistent, and effective across various devices and screen sizes.
11. Cross-Platform Consistency: If the interface is used across multiple platforms (e.g., web, mobile, desktop), maintain consistency in design and functionality to provide a unified user experience.
12. Scannability: Make content easily scannable by using headings, bulleted lists, and concise text (these formatting can also boost SEO). Users should be able to quickly find the information they need without having to read through long paragraphs.

Effective user interface design considers the needs, preferences, and behaviors of the target users, aiming to create an interface that is not only functional but also user-friendly, visually appealing, and capable of providing a positive overall experience.
