Buffalo Art Wall

Buffalo Art Wall (BAW) is an online platform dedicated to displaying the work of contemporary artists in Buffalo, NY. Rather than acting as a sales platform, BAW serves as a digital gallery, allowing artists to showcase their work while providing direct contact links for potential buyers or gallery inquiries. However, to better serve its artists and visitors, BAW needed a fresh, high-quality website with improved functionality and a more modern look.

Project Goals

The outdated visual design of BAW’s old website didn’t reflect the contemporary nature of the artists featured, and site management tools were clunky and inefficient. Our goal was to create a simple, clean design that put the artwork at the forefront while implementing a user-friendly content management system to streamline updates and artist participation.

New Website Features

The new BAW website features:

• A minimalist aesthetic that lets the artwork shine.
• An intuitive interface for administrators—Ingenious’ Infinitus Content Management System (CMS)—and separate content management capabilities for artists.
• Dynamically displayed listing of artists on the homepage in a randomized order, ensuring a fresh experience for every visitor and an equal opportunity for all artists to have their work highlighted.

With these improvements, BAW now provides a seamless, engaging, and modern online gallery experience.
