Diversified Labor Solutions’ provides contract labor for local businesses, and it’s imperative that they be perceived as professional, credible, and reputable. Their old website failed to communicate these traits and made it difficult for DLS to connect with potential clients and business partners.
The look and feel of the old Diversified Labor Solutions (DLS) website was outdated and drab. Its user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) left something to be desired, as the site was neither responsive nor intuitive.
In creating the new site, we first and foremost made sure that it was designed and built to be responsive and mobile-friendly. We also made some structural changes to the website’s navigation, so users can easily find their way around. And the research we did during our Discovery Phase revealed the importance of highlighting not only the “services” DLS provides but also the “advantages” of hiring their workforce, so the new website includes top level navigation to call out both.
Additionally throughout the redesign process, our team worked in tandem with creative studio White Bicycle as they developed DLS’ brand strategy and content. And DLS even ended up with a mini-rebrand. We introduced a new color scheme and logo along with the new website, and we reimagined the site’s visual design to be simple and clean but also bold and engaging.
Accompanying their new front-end design is an intuitive back-end system to manage their site’s content. Our custom Content Management System (CMS): Infinitus was adapted to fit the needs of the DLS team, so they are fully equipped to seamlessly update and edit their site content.
