Excello is a global promotional company that boasts a passionate and professional team with a widely diverse skill set. While they are primarily recognized for their corporate merchandising, Excello is much more than just that. That’s where Ingenious came in.
One of the brands biggest challenges was communicating the full breadth of their services. Potential clients did not have a full understanding of what Excello was capable of, so the primary goal for the new website was to move away from merchandise-heavy advertising and focus on advertising the brand as a whole and differentiating their wide range of services.
In addition to Excello’s primary goal, supporting goals included: (1) prove credibility and capability and (2) engage potential clients to start the conversation—whether it's to begin a project or simply inquire about a project or service.
To tackle the goal of clearly defining Excello’s capabilities, we were sure to include a designated space for them to expand on their offerings, so that information is easily communicated to users. And to further showcase the expanse of their abilities, case studies were developed, given prominence on the site, and linked with capabilities.
The website design is innovative, energetic, and forward-thinking to create an engaging user experience (UX). We worked to refine and enhance the brand identity through design so that it would accurately depict Excello’s unique brand and company culture. The design also encourages customer engagement by distributing a variety of engagement opportunities, or calls-to-action (CTAs), throughout the site.
Aside from improved visuals and experience, the user interface (UI) was improved—on both the front and back end of things. While design worked to make content easily navigable, the custom content management system (CMS) made the task of managing and updating that content simple. Moving forward, Excello will easily be able to show potential clients exactly who they are and what they’re capable of.
