Freethought Trail is a collection of 100+ marked and unmarked sites important to the history of radical social reform in West-Central New York State.
The new site boasts a modern yet historic feel – featuring a greatly enhanced user experience with interactive maps, all while still embracing the historic past of the sites within the Freethought Trail (FTT).
Our custom content management system (CMS) allows the FTT team to easily manage the website content—location data plotted on custom Google Maps, the engaging historical stories for each location, and more.
Curated Trails are also a new addition to the site, including over a dozen customized trail tours designed for those wishing to focus on a specific region, person, or cause.
Most importantly, the website is now completely mobile-friendly with a responsive design. Allowing people out exploring these historic sites in person to easily access more information, photos, etc.
