Laub International Inc. deals in commercial warehousing and distribution and specializes in Canadian cross border activity. They needed a website that would be simple and user-friendly—but also easy to manage, so they can keep their focus on providing the best possible service for their clients and partners.
Our team had previously worked with Laub on their website, but over time the site started to show its age. Both the design and functionality of the site had grown outdated.
Our primary goals in updating the site included (1) ensuring Laub’s services and capabilities were clear, concise, and easy to find, (2) implementing relevant and quickly accessible calls-to-action (CTAs), (3) making the site—both the front- and back-end—responsive and mobile-friendly.
In the redesign, we restructured the navigation and site layout to be simple and intuitive. Services Laub offers are plainly identified on the homepage but also have their own individual page, so users have multiple ways to access the information. Relevant CTAs to “Get a Quote” or call Laub directly are right in the navigation for easy access. And perhaps most importantly, the site was built to be responsive, so it can be accessed anytime, anywhere, and on any device.
We kept the visual design relatively uncomplicated, reflecting the clean, capable, straightforwardness of Laub. Their main focus is their client relationships, so they wanted a website with very simple UI/UX and one that wouldn’t be a hassle for their team to maintain. The implementation of our custom content management system (CMS) of course makes management of the site content quick and easy, so Laub can continue to focus on what matters most.
