OpenBuffalo originally came to us looking for a simple informational website to showcase who they are and their goals for our community – which ultimately led to a two-year, $1.9 million grant to combat economic injustice and inequality in Buffalo.
The organization itself has grown substantially since we first started working with them. And with this growth came the need to edit/manage different types of content seamlessly. The best part about a well-built website? Being able to expand upon it when the need arises—via their custom content management system (CMS).
Along with the additional functionality, we also revamped the design to showcase a more modern feel and the personality of their brand.
The newest version of the OpenBuffalo website allowed us to step back from the initial get-off-the-ground nature of their original site, and to have the site focus around the actual initiatives they are involved in. The overall user experience was optimized — to allow new and returning visitors to be able to find pertinent information quickly and easily.
