Saint Louis Roman Catholic Church

Our Ingenious team had previously created a website for St. Louis in 2015, but web design and development are constantly evolving, and St. Louis' site was starting to show its age. Our main goals for the updated design were to re-energize the church’s look and feel and implement a responsive design.

On the design side of things, we first refreshed the St. Louis brand itself with a more vibrant and saturated color palette. The new colors add life and energy to the site and help to create an uplifting user experience (UX). With the brand feeling more lively, we were then able to start implementing that style throughout the site. Defining text styles was especially important to ensure easy page navigation and to break up large blocks of text, so users can effortlessly scan and engage with site content. In addition to the organization that text styling provides to individual pages, we worked with the client to restructure the site navigation, so the overall sitemap is also logically organized.

Throughout the entire design process, we were mindful of the intended responsive nature of the website. Each and every design element was created purposefully. Once in the development phase, the site was built to adapt to any device, so the patrons of St. Louis church can access the information they need wherever they are. The church’s rise in mobile users made this mobile-friendly adaptation imperative.

Design refinement was accompanied by improvements to their custom content management system (CMS). While the St. Louis staff had worked with an Ingenious CMS before, we implemented an updated version that is responsive and user-friendly. The new and improved user interface (UI) also includes new features and capabilities that were not available in previous versions of the Ingenious CMS.

The updated website ensures St. Louis Church is able to easily and efficiently interact and engage with their community.
